National Coalition of 100 Black Women San Francisco Chapter
Strengthening Sisterhood. Advancing Equity and Empowering leadership in the Bay Area

Membership offers an opportunity to grow personally, professionally, and as a leader in the community while contributing to programs that make a real difference.
As a member, you will join a national network of over 7,500 women dedicated to advocacy, mentorship, and community empowerment.
Each year, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, San Francisco Chapter hosts its signature Golden Girls Hats & Gloves Tea, a beloved tradition celebrating the strength, leadership, and achievements of women in our community. This elegant afternoon affair brings together women of all ages for a time of sisterhood, style, and purpose — where guests don their finest hats and gloves, enjoy a refined tea service with delicious refreshments, and connect in community.
The Tea also honors phenomenal Bay Area women whose leadership and contributions have made a lasting impact in fields such as education, health, civic engagement, business, and community advocacy.
Past events have featured keynote speakers, inspiring presentations, and opportunities to celebrate award recipients who embody the mission and values of NCBW SF. Proceeds from the event support the Chapter’s year-round programs that empower Black women and girls through mentorship, workforce development, education, and advocacy.

Rock the Red Pump Day
On March 10th of each year, our Country acknowledges National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
Launched by the Office of Women’s Health, this nationwide observance encourages people to take action in the fight against the HIV/AIDS epidemic and raise awareness of its impact on women and girls. In observance of the day, the Coalition recommends and advocates for additional support of HIV/AIDS awareness educational programs.
Through our partnerships, we reach out to our contacts and encourage 501c3 organizations to show their support and spread awareness for the need to increase our educational programs for women and girls. While promoting awareness, we support the Rock the Red Pump project, which provides trained health professionals to come out to community events to conduct educational workshops and distribute information.
